Stabilized cameras will steady the camera, but certainly not the dancers, so the shutter speed rules will still apply, even if you don't have any noticeable camera movement.
Bright? Probably not … those clubs are pretty dark. You can meter the stage and use that for shooting the concert, but again there will be some movement unless you are willing to shoot at high ISO's and deal with the noise later.
I use a D300 with the ISO at 6400 ISO with a 24-70 mm f/2.8 lens, so I have a lot of latitude when I am shooting concerts.
And there are times when I do use an external flash.
