auto focus on camera (canon eos 40D)

is there a way to turn off the auto focus the the canon eos 40d.. or a mode that doesn’t have it with it on. I know I could read the instructions or google it but im cba!! and I’m tired :)

    Yes, the little switch on the lens. Slide it to M (for manual)

    Yes you can do that..
    few camera’s does that automatically but few need to be manually set.
