Casio Exilim: Is Shutter Speed Enough?

Im buying a new camera…I already ordered it… this is the link to the camera

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8811701

in the description it says that the Casio Exilim has a maximum shutter speed of 1/2000 of a second….my question is….will this be enough to take a clear picture of a hummingbird flying still in the air? the ad for the camera says you can take a picture of a racecar zooming by without blur….my main purpose of the camera isnt for taking pictures of hummingbirds….i was just curious to see if i could do this….also…10.1 megapixels…i heard that’s amazing picture quality…would you agree? leave any other comments about the camera if you wish….thanks :D

Casio SVPAM vs. Natural Display

Which calculators are better - the older ones with a “conventional” display or the ones with a Natural Textbook Display. I’ll be using it at uni.

BTW conventional displays give you, say sqrt(2) sqrt(6) as 3.863… i.e. a decimal when they could give it as an exact expression which N.T.D does. So really which one do you think is better.

Casio Exilim Ex-Z80 Zoom is Stuck

I got the camera back in June and it has worked great. However, now my zoom button seems to be stuck. When I use the zoom it will either zoom all the way in or all the way out. It won’t just stop zooming after I release the button. I hope this isn’t too confusing. I don’t know why its doing this but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and possibly why. My siser borrowed it and says she didn’t drop it or anything but she could be telling me that so I won’tbe mad. Thanks for any help

Sony T300 comparing to old Casio model EX-24?

I am looking to buy a new camera by tomorrow and so far, I’ve got my eyes on Sony T300 and Olympus 1010.

You see, I have a Casio Exilm EX-24 that was brought like…. more than 3 years ago. And whenever I take photos indoor without using flash, the photos always come out to be blurry, yellowish, and full of noise.

So, whenever a photo is described as “poor quality”, I immediately compare it to my casio camera type of bad. My question is: is the Sony T300 really that bad in its photos (as I’ve heard it is)? And how about the Olympus 1010? Is it as good as people say it is? And lastly, which should I buy if I want a user-friendly camera that takes good photos?

I would really like to have some answers by today. Thank you!

Casio Exilim battery problem

Hey, I have a Casio Exilim camera that uses a rechargeable battery. It was working fine for months, but all of the sudden when I go to charge it, instead of the red light coming on and staying on (indicating that it’s charging) it just blinks. I made sure everything was correctly plugged in, and after a while, i put the battery in my camera to see if it had charged at all, but it didn’t. My camera doesn’t even turn on, it’s so dead. Is there any way I can fix this problem, or do I need to get a whole new battery? Please reply ASAP. thanks :)
