I’ve been disappointed with “equivalent” Li Ion rechargeable batteries for my Olympus cameras. Where can I get an original Olympus PS-BLM 1 battery?

I’ve only had my camera a few months. It worked fine last nite, the battery is charged completely and memory card is empty. When I turn it on the lens comes out but the screen is black and it makes a grinding sound. It will not shut off or take pics. It’s fine when I go to the playback screen, it will only shut off on the playback screen. Tried taking out battery and memory card, gave it a break, etc. Noting seems to help. Took it back to Walmart with box and everything that it came with, they refuse to exchange it. Don’t know what to do, anyone else had this problem and does anyone have any suggestions? I can’t find my receipt so I don’t know if I can get any kind of warranty.

is the olympus stylus 1010 good for windows movie maker? does wmm support its file type or would i have to convert the videos.. i want a camera that takes great videos as well as pictures but i want it to be small and work 100% with *WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER* please help me

After returning from Darwin where camera was used last (olympus FE-210) and working perfectly, I turned camera on and the screen has a black blob like a leaf in left bottom corner plus some horizontal and vertical lines over screen no picture at all. Maybe heat in darwin has fused screen, Any solution?? Was going to try hair dryer on camera to tryinfusing or perhaps pit in fridge??
Not sure what to do?

my Olympus digital camera broke recently and not so long ago i bought an SD memory card with quite good memory (cant remember the memory right now) and i bought the card from an Olympus camera shop, and the SD card has the Olympus logo on it.

are all SD cards for digital cameras the same size physically? im not on about memory or storage, im just wondering, because i want to make use of the SD card i have right now but i dont know if this means i will have to buy an Olympus camera to use it, or should it fit in any camera?

I’m looking to buy a new point and shoot. I currently own a Casio and HATE it! I’ve had two and and both have had the same issues. I want a camera that takes very clear pictures in all types of lighting. Shutter time should be quick. I need something to take awesome pics on my daughters first trip to disney world.

I was looking at getting the Olympus 1050 SW or the 1050 SW. Just wanted to find out if the battery is USB rechargeable and how long the battery last for?
