I Need a new Digital SLR. I have to have Live view and need it to be affordable. I play around with photography and want to get more serious, however just wing it right now. My camera knowledge is very limited and the more i read about all these the more confused as to which is the best. Which one will give me quality, funtionality, Live view and the best for the money?
I have a Pentax ZX-50 SLR and I want to buy a Polarizer Filter for it, but I don't know what size would fit the 28-90mm lens that came with it?
Anyone knows! Let me know!

I need help to understand every bit of detail to such as:
1. shutter speed
2. aperture
3. load a film
4. compatible flash
5. what is the ideal shutter speed for outdoor and indoor shots.
6. What is the basic purpose of battery slot.
I'm trying to take a model's picture againt white or color background without the harsh shadow created by using the pop up flash. If I don't use the flash the picture is blurry and not sharp. If I use the flash, it's sharper but has harsh shadows around the model. I'm in manual mode right now using a Pentax k10d. Please help.

I dropped my 1 1/2 year old camera and not the lens won't fully go in or out. I can plug the camera into my computer and I uploaded all the photos fine so the "computer" part of the camera is fine…however I found a service place online through the pentax website and it is going to cost about $106 to fix a $200 2 year old camera. My question is this…I really love the camera and all its features, but it will cost a 100 bucks should I just get a new camera? If so any suggestions because I really like the camera I have now…
(oh I also bought a 50.00 memory card for the camera too)
