I am debatting on geting a SLR or a DSLR. Apparently the Pentax K100d Super is a really good beginners camera and it has that anti shake, but the Canon Rebel K2 is suppose to be a good entry level SLR. Im confused. Should i start off by learning with a K2 or should i get the Pentax K100d?
I have an old flash unit from a Canon AE-1. I was wondering whether I could use it with my Pentax K100D DSLR? If so, how? I tried it once but it wouldn't flash or show any lights or anything. So whats the trick?

The camera will not stay on and it buzzes, then shuts off. The screen says "green mode" I replaced the batteries and it still won't stay on. Can it be saved, what is the deal?
While attempting to delete one image, 'delete all' was somehow selected. Many of my vacation pictures were lost. I pressed 'Cancel', but apprently not quick enough.
Some cameras can restore. Can I restore the lost pictures with the Pentax K10D model?
how do i change the settings on my optio e10 to make the shutter speed faster? it has pretty slow speed (about 2 secs) and id like to make it faster. thanx =)
#1. I have a Pentax ist-D digital camera that I'm having a problem with. The pictures are ALWAYS underexposed = too dark…especially since I got my new auto-focus lenses. I can "auto fix" them with adobe photoshop, but I need them to be right on in the first place.
#2. Also, when I'm shooting multiple pictures 4 frames in 5-seconds, I'm getting bracketing on the exposures when I don't really want the bracketing on. (1st over exposed or lighter, 2nd medium or proper exposure then the 3rd under exposed or darker.)
I'm shooting a friend's wedding Friday (tomorrow) night, so will appreciate your assistance/suggestions.

I have a cleaning kit and have cleaned it many times, but when I look through i cant make out anything but it focuses and I take the picture it is completely clear. I really dont know what is wrong with it
any ideas?
