Is a nikon battery ok to carr on plane?

it is an en-el 10? please help.. 10 points to most informative answer!!!

    The only restriction on Li-ion batteries is for checked baggage. Since is is always recommended that your photo and computer gear be carried on with you, it is not a problem. Unless it is an extra battery, leave it in your camera

    Nikon batteries are as far as I know not on a banned item list for any carrier, the only batteries i've herd restrictions on are Sony manufactured batteries on UPS planes.
    The batteries are almost certainly ok to take on a plane (I used to work in a camera shop and no-one said they had trouble when flying) but if your still concerned contact the airline and ask if they have a policy on rechargeable li-ion batteries.
