what can i do to get my camera, the olympus fe230 to charge? PLEASE HELP!!!?
a couple weeks ago, the screen on my camera broke. my mom just wouldnt let me get it repaired because she thought it would be too expensive and she wanted to teach me responsibility. i charged my camera later that week and made a video; it was working perfectly. my cousins and i were taking picture, and it warned me that the battery was closed to being empty. then suddenly it turned off and when i tried to turn it on the screen said battery empty (it always does and says this when the battery needs to be charged). the battery lasted for just about the normal time as it did before i broke it. so i took the camera home and charged the battery. i forgot to take the battery out after it charged for a few hours so it ended up charging overnight. i woke up this morning and put my battery in my camera and it said battery empty. i tried to charge the battery but nothing happened.
my questions:
has this happened to you?
what did you do to fix it?
is it because of the crack on the screen?
Recently, my camera screen broke, and so you couldn't see anything on the screen, it still worked though, because I took many pictures and videos after this accident at my sisters prom which was the same day after the accident. A day later nothing worked on my camera so I tried to charge the battery and put it in my camera but my camera wouldn't take it because my camera was broken completely. I tried to take it to the store and ask them to fix it but they wouldnt because it was my fault that the camera broke…I ended up buying a new camera. Show your mom your responsibility by paying for the new camera. This is what I had to do and my mom ended up paying for half of it becuase I was responsible!
