uggh, had the same problem, u shud keep the tape slot open for a couple hours, to prevent the problem, u shud not move from a different temperature area to another, for example, from an air conditioned room to a non a/c room, or from humid outside rainy day, to inside an a/c room etc. because of this problem, i changed cams to hdd cam
