Pentax ZX-50 filter size?

I have a Pentax ZX-50 SLR and I want to buy a Polarizer Filter for it, but I don't know what size would fit the 28-90mm lens that came with it?

Anyone knows! Let me know!

Thanks :-) I know the symbol for the filter size (that would be on the lens for filter size) but there is none.

That information should be on the front of the lens and shown by a circle with a slash in it followed by a number.

If it's not on the lens…ugh. First of all, are there even threads to mount a filter to it? (I'm assuming there are, since you're asking, but I thought I'd check.)

If you've got a GOOD camera store available to you (translation: not Best Buy), they should have a variety of filters that are usually sold in an easily re-sealable pouch so that you can try different ones on for size. Start with a 55mm (I'm going with what fits my old 28-90mm).

If you have a micrometer, you can measure the inside diameter of the lens end and add 2-3 mm.

Alternatively, I've had great luck with asking questions directly to Pentax and getting a reasonably quick response.
