sony ericsson help!?!?!?

i followed these procedures which i got from a question i searched.

To transfer files from your computer to your phone, YOU NEED: USB connection cable and a Memory Stick Pro/Pro Duo. Insert the card, turn on your phone, and plug the cable in accordingly. Pick the appropriate option that pops up on your phone. On your computer, go to "My Computer." In a few moments, "Removable Drive (?:)" should come up. You shouldn't have to install ANY software. Ignore any attempts by your computer to install software. Double click on that. There should be folders already made. Go to the one labeled "Music." Just drag the songs you want in there. After you're done, return to "My Computer," right click the "Removable Drive (?:)" and press eject. Wait until your phone says it's okay to disconnect the cable. After your disconnect your cable, wait a moment for the phone to restart and turn on again

i tried to click on the "removable drive (g:) and it says please insert a disk into drive g:
help?!
what software?!

    i have a sony ericsson believe me you have to install the software in order to use the phone with the computer.go to the s/e web site and down load it from there
