    PLEASE do not buy a DVD based camcorder - especially if you have any expectation of decent video quality for editing.

    Best video quality continues to come from miniDV tape That is why the pros continue to use it)… but if you only let us choose between hard drive and DVD, then for sure, hard drive.

    hdd any day it has hdmi port wich means better playback and pics or films like high res
