I have a sony vaio modle PCG-8Y2L. tryed formating the HD.?

Then it froze so restarted and now it dont recongise the HD. Tryed installing XP and the disk says thers no hard drive to install OS on.Please help me

    Try a bootable program liek MHDD.

    You have to burn it to a cd or dvd and then boot to it.

    Then you can try tp fix the drive.
