there really is no cheap way, try to go to the store you bought it at and ask them what they can do.
well, if you want to try this first:
take everything out of the phone(SIM card, SD card,battery, and the back) Put everything in a bag of rice for a day or two. Take it out and use a hair dryer to dry it out, and set it in front of the fan for a day.
If you did that, the you can go onto e-bay or amazon. Make sure they are unlocked. If they are unlocked you can pretty much use any phone from any carrier (ex. AT&T, T-Mobile) You could also get an AT&T prepaid cell phone and put your SIM card in it and use that till its time to upgrade your plan. You could also go to your provider and see what they can do.(ex. replace it.(if you have the insurance), tell you about an exception upgrade.)
