How do you remove tracer lines from a ps3 off of your sony HD 57" projection tv?

How do you remove tracer lines from a ps3 off of your sony HD 57" projection tv? When there is black or dark greens and blues the tracer lines show, but when there are light colors they don't. Please any helpful not smartass comments would be greatly appreciated.
I am using the red/white, and yellow AV cables. Forgive me, I know a little about technology but not a lot.

    Check you video cable connections. Are you using HDMI or component video cables?

    i would suggest moving ur ps3 to another room.if this doesnt work u should take out all wires from the the ps3 then plug it back in.if not u might need a new ps3 or tv
